Producers

philThis was the first tandem project for Creative Soul and award-winning producer Phil Naish. Phil produced nine songs on the CD (see the credits for more), including creating the arrangements, producing the vocals, and even contributing one song (Leslie McKee’s “What Love Looks Like”, a co-write with Lowell Alexander).

Phil’s discography is marked by many gold records, Grammys and Dove awards, spanning a variety of genres, and noted for both critical and commercial success. For more on his prestigious career, check out his web site at http://www.PhilNaish.com

ec“We Are Creative Soul” was the brainchild of producer and president of Creative Soul Eric Copeland. Looking for a way to at once raise money, awareness, and provide an amazing opportunity for Creative Soul artists, he decided upon a compilation in the highest order. He knew that bringing Phil Naish in would make it special, but also added things like a Kickstarter campaign, the vocal and photo event where artists got to come in and work together with Phil, as well as the marketing opportunities that are just now beginning.

Eric is known throughout the Christian music industry and with his many clients as the music consultant and guide for the professional Christian artist and music ministry. His complete program at Creative Soul is unmatched in the industry. From consult to production, from identity to full promotion, Eric has effectively leveled the playing field for Christian artists.

rbGrammy-winning engineer Ronnie Brookshire is “mainly to blame” for Creative Soul being in Nashville in the first place. A quick meeting in Franklin about ten years ago sealed Creative Soul’s move to the Nashville area, as well as the relationships with the players, studios, and others in the Christian music business.

With credits like Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Nichole Nordeman, Michael McDonald, and countless more, it’s not hard to see he’s seen and done it all. Ronnie mixed many of the songs you hear on “We Are Creative Soul” and is an amazing producer in his own right.

diegoDiego Cadogan has been working with Creative Soul for a few years now, and was a key co-producer on the project. Diego completed his formal training at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, AZ, before moving to the Nashville area with his wife. He met Eric and Creative Soul while working at Dark Horse Recording, and became interested in starting his career with a working Christian music company.

Diego was crucial in the planning, recording, and especially helping keep the lines of communication going with artists and technical folks.
